<p>“I believe that the overall series score of 2-2 is a true representation of two very, very excellent teams competing during a five-match series. The quality of the cricket that has been played has been excellent. Being 2-0 down is a very difficult position to recover from, so being able to claim that we have tied the series while knowing we needed to win the last three matches, Stokes remarked on Monday following the conclusion of the fifth Test.</p>
<p>“I couldn’t be more proud of the squad for what they accomplished after coming here and playing the way we did. The only thing I could have wanted for more than getting the urn back was that we keep playing the way we have over the last 15 months,” he concluded.</p>
