<p>After working on Star Trek: Nemesis, Patrick Stewart didn’t believe he would ever see or interact with co-star Tom Hardy again. The seasoned Hollywood actor, Captain Jean Luc Picard in several Star Trek motion pictures and television series, thought Tom’s “anti-social antics quite odd” some twenty years ago. Since he didn’t have a “single exciting scene” to portray, Patrick described Nemesis as a “particularly weak” movie in his debut biography, Making It So. According to Insider, Patrick described his co-star as “an unusual, reclusive young guy from London who played the movie’s villain, Shinzon. <p>Patrick allegedly continued by saying that Tom would decide not to socialize with anybody on the set. An extract from his biography states that he “never said, ‘Good morning,’ never said, ‘Goodnight,’ and spent the hours he wasn’t needed on set in his trailer with his girlfriend.” But the 83-year-old said Tom wasn’t “hostile,” simply “challenging” to build any kind of relationship with the then-youngster. The X-Men star said that he thought Tom’s career would not take off following the filming.</p>
<p>The night Tom finished playing his part, he just walked out the door without any fanfare or formalities. I said, “And there goes someone I think we shall never hear of again,” as it came to an end. After all these years, Tom proving him wrong offers him nothing but satisfaction and pleasure.</p>
<p>After enjoying on-screen success in a number of movies and television series over the years, including the Venom trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises, Peaky Blinders, and Inception, among others, Tom Hardy has over time become a household name. The Bikeriders, a drama film by filmmaker Jeff Nichols, will feature him opposite Austin Butler. The film is scheduled to premiere in theaters on December 1 and is said to portray a brutal motorcycle gang boss.</p>
<p>Making It So, Patrick Stewart’s autobiography, was published on October 3rd. In the superhero sequel movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, he most recently appeared alongside Benedict Cumberbatch. He played the role of Charles Xavier, also known as Professor X, in the 2022 film.</p>
