<p>During the first Khelo India National Women’s Taekwondo League, Rishita Dang of Karnal won the gold medal in the women’s senior U-67kg event. From March 9 to 11, the tournament took place in the Jawahar Lal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha. She had taken first place in the same category in the Khelo India Women’s Taekwondo League Phase-II in Uttar Pradesh last month.</p>

<p>Additionally, in 2019 and 2023, respectively, Rishita won two gold medals in the Central Board of Secondary Education Inter School Sports and Games. In addition, she took home gold medals from the 12th Junior National Poomsae Taekwondo Championship in Visakhapatnam last year, as well as the 39th Junior National Kyorugi. Additionally, she took home one gold medal from the 55th Haryana State School Tournament and one from the Haryana Khel Mahakumbh last year.</p>
<p>According to Dang, 276 competitors participated from 28 states and 8 union territories, in addition to athletes from the Assam Rifles, Sports Authority of India, National Center of Excellence Lucknow, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram, Sashastra Seema Bal, and Center Reserve Police Force.</p>
<p>The National Sports Federations worked together to organize the games.</p>
